I am Swastika Basu, I have passed out from The Gayatri Chetna Foundation, Narendrapur under MAKAUT with masters degree in clinical psychology. I feel so lucky to be a part of this department. In this two year not only did I get immense knowledge regarding my field but also learn a lot of job related skills. Our faculty members are all very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. They explain each concept with practical or real life experiences that makes the class more interesting. Apart from this we have a Library in our campus providing us with all necessary books. Our administrative department is also very cooperative. We also get the opportunity to do internship in various organizations that help us in developing our professional skills. Apart from this we also get the opportunity to participate in various activities and cultural program that help us in building our confidence level. After successfully completing my master’s degree from here I am proud to say that right now I am also working as a research assistant here. I would like to thank the institution for giving me such a great experience and also training me to be a professional. I feel proud to be a part of this institute.

I am Namrata Bhowmik, I have passed out from The Department of Clinical Psychology, The Gayatri Chetna Foundation, George College under CCPTR MAKAUT, with Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. Two years of rigorous classes has not only provided us with theoretical knowledge but also with the required practical expertise and certain additional skills to deal with our professional world. We were given the opportunity to intern with different organizations and to participate in different activities, cultural programs, seminars, webinars conducted by our college. On talking about our faculties, they are highly knowledgeable, approachable and proficient at their task and guide us with constant support. The Gayatri Chetna Foundation, Narendrapur have helped us shape ourselves into an emerging personality and today I am confidently working as a school counselor in a reputed school in Kolkata. I would like to thank the institution for giving me such a great learning experience. I feel proud to be a part of this institution.

I am Sreeja Sircar, a student of The Gayatri Chetna Foundation, George College studied M.Sc in Clinical Psychology from there. It had been a great experience studying there. All the teachers and staff members were very cooperative towards us. All the Faculty teachers are very helpful and friendly and we could approach to them whenever needed for any help. They helped us during our online classes with our practicals and theory papers. The faculty of the department are very knowledgeable and qualified. They made us understand each and every concept very easily with examples which helped us to understand the concept well. They even helped us a lot during our dissertation work. Thus the whole experience of completing M.SC from the college was successful and a very good experience.

I am Shabari Sarkar, have completed my P.G. Diploma in Psycholgical Counseling from George group of colleges, Narendrapur, affiliated under MAKAUT University. This is a one year course. I started the course before Pandemic situation as offline. During and after pandemic situation we continue our classe both offline and online. Our faculties are so efficient, knowledgeable and helpful that I can understand the subject very well. They explain each concept very clearly and in an interesting way. They always share examples in the theory classes. The practical classes always are full of activities. Our faculties and administrative members are very students friendly. They try to help us to solve our problems. During the course joined as School Counselor with Swapnopuron Welfare Society. This was given from our college as my placement. am working with this NGO. I am very happy and grateful getting the opportunity from our college. Our faculties also helped me even after joining the job. Being a student from Non-Psychology background, the course change my way of profession. Now am a proud to be a part of mental health experts.

I am Sulagna Dutta, I complete post graduation diploma in Psychological Councilling from The Gayatri Chetna Foundation, Narendrapur under MAKAUT. I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of this department in my time of service in this department not only did I get crucial knowledge regarding my field of work but I also got to learn multiple essential skills regarding my job. Our faculty members are all extremely efficient , knowledgeable and helpful. They explain every concept with practical and real life experience which makes every class more interesting. Our administrative department is extremely cooperative, we are also given the opportunity to participate in various activities and cultural programs which are meant to help us build our confidence. After getting my PG diploma in Psychological Counselling from MAKAUT, I am working as a life skill teacher to help students build their social skills, which will help them with their social life and help them build their relationships with others.
